The World Series of Darts is a new event that embodies four regular tournaments all over the world and one final. The tournaments that are part of the World Series of Darts are the Japan Darts Masters, Perth Darts Masters, Sydney Masters and Auckland Darts Masters. In 2006 there was also a one-time event called the World Series of Darts. This event was played in Las Vegas and won by Phil Taylor. There is no relation between this event and the new series of tournaments.
